Searching around Florida for the hottest and newest rides is no easy task. Not only do we look for the cleanest and the baddest, we keep one big eye open for the most unique rides to feature. While attending Daytona Spring Break Nationals and Battle of the Imports, there was no doubt in our minds that S3 Tuning has always kept up with the scene in both originality and cleanliness. No matter how simple or how radical, S3 has developed a system in building cars that encompasses every aspect in tuning. Vedo's 1.8T Golf makes no exception to their already established chain of cars: performance, show quality body work, and a killer stereo.

Staring at some different body lines this time around, we were overwhelmed by how breathtaking simplicity can be sometimes. The custom airbrushed hood just screams for attention, while the custom front mount intercooler catches your eyes. Panning back away from the front of the car, we notice Kamei eyelids giving the VW a more subtle, yet aggressive look. Backing up that aggressive look is a menacing stance that comes from H&R coilovers in each corner of the VW. No ride is complete without a set of wheels to fill up the wheel wells. This VW doesn't stop short of 19x8.0 Antera 301's wrapped with Toyo T1S in the 225/35 rubber variety. The body kit accents the lines of the Golf and comes from Strictly Foreign.

Opening up the driver and passenger doors of this Golf, we were greeted by a substantial amount of toys and electronics. A Blitz Power Meter, Blitz SBC i-d and Blitz Turbo Timer are the basic electronics that complement the turbo system in the car. A Freedom Design shifter kit along with a Neuspeed short shifter make snapping gears a breeze while boosting off the Turbonetics T3/T4 setup. Neuspeed Pedals are the last noticeable thing in the cockpit, until you turn on the Panasonic In dash / Flip Out DVD Player...

All of a sudden, it was a new entity acting on our five senses. The Panasonic DVD player came to life with 3 JL 12" W7's along with 6 MB Quart Mids and Highs. All this was powered by 5 Phoenix Gold Amplifiers, 3 of them pumping out 1200W, and 2 of them complementing what seems to be a meager 600W. 2 Optima Yellow Top Batteries ensure the VW lasts during the shows. A Panasonic Surround Sound Processor along with a Playstation2 finishes up the entertainment in the VW. As we popped our heads out of the interior, we couldn't help but glance twice at the Custom Suede Interior

On my way out of the car, I instinctively pulled the hood release latch and ventured on over to the hood. Carefully popping up the work of art that we normally take granted as a hood, the 1.8T was revealed in its full form. Immediately I noticed the Neuspeed Engine Dress-Up Kit along with the Neuspeed Strut Bar. After more inspection, a Neuspeed P-Flow intake became obvious to me along with a Neuspeed Fuel Pressure Riser. No turbocharged car is complete without a Bypass Valve, and Forge takes care of this VW's application. I was then informed that all the "minor" bolt-ons are enhanced by a custom ECU program.

After closing the hood shut, I quickly glanced to the rear of the car to see if I missed anything. I wasn't surprised when I noticed the Freedom Design Spoiler in the rear that completed the rest of the body lines. Peaking out from the rear bumper was nothing shy of a stainless steel GReddy G2 exhaust system to expel out the fumes the boosted 1.8 produces.

Taking a deep breath and stepping back, I didn't know what exactly to focus my attention back on. But I did know one thing, this is definitely a complete vehicle - performance, show quality body work, and a killer stereo.
