Once
known as the Fifth Avenue of South Florida Lincoln Road
Pedestrian Mall has remerged as a mecca for shoppers with
discerning taste. After a day of shopping, visitors can
enjoy the internationally acclaimed cuisine at one of many
indoor/outdoor cafes. The 12-block disctrict sizzles with
activity day and night, and features more than 170 specialty
shops and restaurants. Nearby, on Ocean Drive, and on Collins
and Washington Avenues, a plethora of designer shops such
as Hugo Boss, Nicole Miller, Kenneth Cole, Gucci, Armani
Exchange, Vertigo and Versace can be found. There are also
wonderful locally owned boutiques, galleries and unique
collectibles. Also located in the midst of South Beach is
Espanola Way, a narrow street of pink Mediterranean Revival
buildings housing a cluster of art galleries, boutiques
and charming restaurants.
