To begin to give you an idea of our extraordinary experience, we must begin by describing nothing less than the distinctive setting. The environment at this restaurant is one of great taste, yet subtle enough to either enjoy a romantic evening or a simple dinner with an acquaintance or two. It gives you a profound, unassuming, quiet feeling. It is unobtrusive and unostentatious. The form is simple and arrived at with an economy of means. Its beauty is imperfect and unique, enhanced by particularities with a twist of modesty and humility. The environment at Shibui, plays a significant role in the overall ambiance of the night, as it is not only interesting, but also natural in it's quality and depth of character.

On the first floor you have very simple yet elegant table settings. For a more memorable experience, we recommend seating at the second floor low tables with floor pillows. The second floor also houses the Sushi Bar.

The meal is the ultimate experience. For starters, you will receive hot moist towels for your hands, giving you a cleansed feeling before you are served. The menu is highly varied and mouth-watering. Freshness is the main goal at Shibui, and one that they certainly live up to!

" As an Appetizer, we like the Shrimp Shumai. It brings 6 pieces, and is Shrimp and vegetables fried dumplings.

" For the Special Sushi Rolls, we picked the Macarena Crunchy Roll (inside out 8 pcs.). This roll is delicious! It contains: crabmeat, avocado, carrots, and spicy mayo deep fried.

" For the Entrée, we chose Chicken Teriyaki, Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura

Last but not least, the Dessert winner was the Chocolate Torte, also known as the epitome of decadence. This one is Ohhhh Sooooo Good!

We found that prices at Shibui are very reasonable and inexpensive. You can expect to pay between $20-$30 for a three-course meal that will leave you very fulfilled and content.

Attire is casual and relaxed. The Service is another winner at Shibui!
